Overview
Disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, and fires occur all over the world. What is important to decrease the damages from a disaster?
It's information. Which information do you use?
Is it media information such as TV? Fire alarm? Security camera?
No, we use Pro ROBO.
What’s so great about the Pro ROBO anyway?
There are two charming points about the Pro ROBO. First, it’s a multifunctional security robot that does many things in one. Second, it’s a high-performance robot for a low cost.
How much do you think the production costs are? It costs ONLY about 700 dollars!
What can the Pro ROBO do?
It can detect earthquakes, fires, intruders, temperature and atmospheric pressure. Also it can explore and communicate.
Now we’ll talk about the system of the Pro ROBO.
Pro ROBO has three modes, the surveillance mode, the exploration mode, and the communication mode. Let’s talk about the first mode, the surveillance mode.
The surveillance mode displays the temperature and atmospheric pressure in real time by using an android tablet on Pro ROBO .

At the same time, Pro ROBO monitors earthquakes, change of the atmospheric pressure, heat strokes, fires, and intruders. We use three kinds of MEMS devices for Pro ROBO’s surveillance mode: the acceleration sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor, and non-contact temperature sensor. The acceleration sensor detects earthquake and the atmospheric pressure sensor detects temperature and the atmospheric pressure.
The non-contact temperature sensor detects neighboring temperature. Therefor Pro ROBO can discover fires and intruders. When Pro ROBO detects abnormality such as intruders, it gives a warning by LED, message, and sound.
How about when you are not at home?
Don’t worry. Pro ROBO will send an email to you.
And you can check the present situation with a video call.
Let’s move on to the second mode, the exploration mode. If we have encountered a disaster, we can use it as an exploration robot. We can remote-control this Pro ROBO using Wi-Fi. Also, we can explore by an automatic run. Therefore, it can rescue people safely and quickly. So, it will help reduce second disasters.
And finally, we’ll talk about the third mode, the communication mode. The information, which Pro ROBO acquired, can be shared with neighbors through e-mail.
You can also contact families with a video call.
That’s all for the three modes.
Now, we’ll explain the ingenious device of Pro ROBO having a multifunction. The control circuit of Pro ROBO is simplified by dividing tasks and having them modularized； accordingly we can easily add and delete functions.
